Why Xyting Insight™?

The purpose of Xyting Insight is to inspire each person to be their best because taking our assessment, you should apply those inner core strengths you possess. With an informed answer, an awakening experience occurs as everything in life starts to make sense and falls into its proper place, helping to direct your life. Knowing these answers is the key to unlocking the puzzle of “Who am I?” and reaching your most significant potential. Successful people and companies seek people who know themselves and can apply their innate strengths, education, and experience to the work they enjoy. That’s right! People who know themselves actually enjoy their work so much that they want not only to do a great job but often work more just because they enjoy it.

  • Xyting Insight™ is quick and easy to use!  The 28 questions take only 10 minutes to answer.  Other instruments are time-consuming to complete, often with over 100 responses required.
  • Xyte’s instrument is a system science model with four constructs that are continuous variables. Together, this explains the “why” of human behavior.   Other instruments were formed by grouping 100s adjectives/questions (categorical variables) to describe behaviors; they are self-reporting (allowing room for error).
  • Xyte’s instrument is the first to explain a high percentage of variance in regression modeling for predicting human behavior.  Example:  Xyte’s study for the U.S. Army and Navy accurately predicted the performance of recruiters. It is the first instrument that is predictive of performance and other behaviors.
  • Xyte’s instrument is based on the thinking process.  Other instruments are based on groupings of adjectives that describe behavior learned from the environment but not innate and predictive.
  • Xyte’s instrument identifies more about the individual and is predictive.  For example, Xyte provides the preferred communication style for each cognofile, including input senses, memory retention, and how the information is perceived.  Suggestions are provided on how to motivate and how to communicate and understand leadership style, learning preferences, how others perceive you, and more.
  • Xyte has identified input senses or preferred senses for the way people learn and absorb information consciously, subconsciously, and retain easily in the brain. These learnings can shorten the learning curve.
  • Xyte’s instrument differentiates the thinking process/innate, intrinsic behaviors from learned environmental influences/skills that contribute to certain behaviors.
  • Xyte has identified physiological preferences (output senses: Body, Hand, Word, Mind rows), which explain approaches to decision-making, leadership style, and preferred occupational activities.  This provides an easy way to place individuals in jobs where they will be more productive, engaged, and retained longer.  All are contributing to their happiness.
  • Xyte’s instrument is cost-effective.  Individuals need to be assessed only once, and it takes only 10-12 minutes of their time.  Volume pricing is available to assist businesses in working with entire employee populations or customer lists.
  • Xyte’s instrument is valid.  The statistical validity of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), for example, as a psychometric instrument has been subject to criticism, in particular about the dichotomous scoring of dimensions.  For instance, it was expected that scores would show a bimodal distribution with peaks near the ends of the scales. However, scores on the individual subscales are actually distributed centrally, similar to a normal distribution. A cut-off exists at the center of the subscale such that a score on one side is classified as one type, and a score on the other side as the opposite type. This fails to support the concept of type–the norm is for people to lie near the middle of the subscale.
  • Xyte’s instrument has high reliability of 92 percent on a test-retest and valid on multiple validity tests.
